ETHNIC STREETS IN THE WORLD

・Manchester is a city in the north east of England, and 20% of the whole
　population belongs to some ethnic groups and half of them are south Asian.

・The immigrants in the residential area known as "Curry Mile" is 5km away from
　the town centre.

・The length of the shopping street is about 800m. Restaurants and sari shops
　line both side of Wilmslow Road.

・At lunchtime, restaurants nearby are flooded with students from Manchester
　University. After sunset, residents gather here and walk around the streets
　under the neon signs and the glow from jewel shops.
